Cosmetic dentistry is generally used to refer to any dental work that improves the appearance of teeth, gums and/or bite. It primarily focuses on improvement in dental aesthetics in color, position, shape, size, alignment and overall smile appearance. They also perform limited periodontics and orthodontics treatment as concerned with esthetics. There are many dental procedures available that come under the heading of Esthetic Dentistry, all of which are designed to improve the appearance of your teeth. These include teeth whitening treatments, bonding and veneers.
